This is the real deal when it comes to guitars, an Epiphone Sheraton, aged and played naturally, it is a great playing guitar. Built in 1993, serial number S98074454, Samick Factory, Korea, the factory Gibson first moved their production to after taking over the Epiphone brand. Guitars from this time and factory are well known for their high quality and finish. Please do not mistake this for the new lesser quality Chinese models. Built in 1993, this guitar's wood has 25 years of aging and now has a sound that literally cannot be replicated. Constructed from a thin line hollow maple body with a Black finish that looks absolutely stunning against the gold hardware, this guitar has been naturally worn in all the right places and has a lovely naturally aged patina, including Gotoh style machine heads and a white body binding.
The solid maple block in the center of the body minimizes feedback, while the hollow body wings gives sustain, tone and weight. Two Epiphone alnico classic humbuckers for authentic vintage tone, combined with the aged wood the guitar sounds really, really beautiful.

The neck is a very comfortable 5 piece walnut and maple neck, it is a dream to play! This guitar is one of the earlier models that has the neck binding which goes all the way up the sides of the frets. This Epiphone Sheraton Archtop Electric Guitar is being sold as used and come to you in strong VG+ condition.
There are no dings, marks or issues with this instrument with the exception of surface scratches found on the top and back of the body with the exception of a small ding by the neck joint as pictured. None of these scratches are deep enough to show the white scratch mark nor do they break the surface, but they are visible on closer look on the guitar.
The electronics work as they should and this guitar is very sound and without trouble. You will receive this item well-packed in its original Epiphone case but without the original paperwork and packaging. Please contact this seller for additional information.
