If it is a legitimate copy of Sibelius the serial number will be shown on the start-up screen, and also on Help About. Even if it is a legitimate copy, you would need to consider whether the original owner is still using their second copy - if so, you can't legitimately use Sibelius even though you 'bought' it by buying the computer. Your copy will still be registered to the original owner. That's a different thing to Serial Number. If the original owner no longer uses Sibelius, you could possibly get Technical Support to recognise you as the new owner.
