I recently got a ton of help from Nasdaq from the Malware response team here and rid my computer of all the malware. Unfortunately we still couldn't figure out the access denied from encrypted files. I tried these two links with no luck. The first link I wasn't able to export using the suggested method because I don't have the private keys. The second link said it was successful. But I don't have permission to change permissions even tho I'm the owner with the needed permissions in the menu. So it says I have permissions but don't at the same time?
Files that I've downloaded from Mac people become encrypted to the PC when you unzip them. I have 3 certificate encrytion keys since the infection. Files with the original key can't be opened, moved, renamed. When I add other keys to the file or try to remove one it says you must have write and read permissions. The permissions say my Uncle Tony user, System, and admin have full control, while authenticated users can modify, red & execute, read, and write. The typical amount expected is 15% of the total C: partition space, unless you have C: as a very large partition/drive. Yours is not exceptionally large and, IMO, you need to move some data files from your C: to any of your other partitions. The errors from Bonjour are relatively common.I would simply uninstall it. All 3 of the encryptions were made on this computer. Is a way to add the newest encryption key? I've tried but an error says I need to modify rights which I do. I am aware of the drive temps and free space. I have new drives coming for backups and to migrate some things. My main concern is the access denied on encrypted files. WMPNetwork Svc is a group or user name with the Security tab of the properties for the encrypted files.
